Welcome to The 90s Café - Chapter 2, a delightful vegetarian haven located in the heart of Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. This restaurant is more than just a dining spot; it’s a nostalgic trip back to the vibrant 90s, capturing the essence of that era with its retro decor and ambiance. Many diners, like Mayank Karra, rave about the nostalgic vibe, claiming it feels like their favorite hangout from youth.
The menu is a delightful blend of flavors, featuring everything from comforting North Indian breads like Paneer Butter Kulcha to enticing Continental delights such as Veg Cheese Burger. However, as Sushmita J observed, while some dishes hit the mark, others such as the drinks could use refinement. Standouts like the red sauce pasta and paneer chilli starter showcase the café's culinary strengths.

Customers appreciate its budget-friendly prices, making it a great choice for both casual outings and group celebrations, despite some critique on consistency in food quality.
In essence, The 90s Café - Chapter 2 not only serves delicious food but also offers a unique retro vibe, creating memorable experiences in every visit.

The purely vegetarian menu receives praise for several standout dishes, including cheese fondue, pad thai noodles, and smoked paneer, though some items garner mixed feedback for inconsistency in flavor. Overall, the café is commended for combining a unique thematic experience with flavorful vegetarian cuisine, appealing especially to those seeking both nostalgia and quality food in Bhilai.
No matter how much I praise 90s Café, it’s still not enough. Tbh guys, I recently visited this place in Bhilai and trust me, their food never disappoints — whatever you try here is just amazing! But the best part? The ambience. Just like the name, the vibe here truly takes you back to the 90s. It’s such a nostalgic experience — you’ll only understand once you visit. I’m 100% sure this is a favorite hangout spot for Bhilai locals. In fact, I wouldn’t mind traveling all the way from Raipur just to eat here!
24 May 2025 (sat) I have updated a video of my recent visit with all my cousins and I would love to share some more dishes reviews that we almost orders their every side dishes as well as drinks in the evening snacks, we will first talk about what we disliked - was masala potato fries kind'a like fries with and chopped ,green spaghetti, paneer potato sandwitch was okaish, all the drinks as I already said according to my cousins was tasted like 2yr kids syrup, plain kulfi. What we liked was red sauce pasta, paneer chilli starter, cheese garlic sticks, ginni dosa, rose flavoured kulfi. 6 May 2025 This evening we choose 90's caffee to rate as well as explore and how is this possible for a good critic to not find you a good restaurant. Let's begin with location it's not appealing from outside and the ambiance is also okay one can only go casually. Due to over crowding you may find little difficult to do conversation and you may need to wait for minutes to dine if you are 2+ members, specially on saturday and sunday. Now if we talk about food so I went there thrice and there food quality and quantity if well proportioned for two and their beverages are not to try. I tried chockate moca, chilli mango and buttermilk all not recommendable, in starters we tried cheesy garlic sticks twice all time we found it too salty also recommend them for improvisation, panner chilli was good, manchow soup was also good moving towards main course we ordered mix veg which was good, Indian sizzler is my reccomendation it was good enough but for one person only quantity wise, mix raita was okay. For dessert I would recommend go somewhere else like gianis or belgium waffles. About the images of food items it's on their menu so I didn't found it useful to upload here. For parties I won't recommend it as interior is "not so photogenic" as well as not a place for reelers. Overall this is budget friendly restaurant you can buy good quality in less amount. Also they have options for people who are fasting. Follow for more on my insta handel "soundarya_ashley".
I recently visited 90s Cafe and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious - some of the best I've had in a while! The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed hangout with friends, and the service was excellent. Nisha was our server, and she was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our meals and had everything we needed. Her kind and welcoming nature really made our visit special. Overall, I highly recommend 90s Cafe to anyone looking for a great place to grab a bite to eat and hang out with friends. The food is top-notch, and the service is truly exceptional. Don't miss out on this gem of a cafe!
It's one of the best restaurants in Bhilai Durg. Although it's pure veg but the mouthwatering food and the decore of 90's era is what's pulling the crowd over here. The staff here is amazing, cordial and very efficient. Food recommendations: cheese fondue, pad thai noodles, steamed momo, and Smokey paneer.. Although every item is delicious.
Stepping into 90’s Rest feels like a time machine — retro vibes, neon lights, and old-school music playing in the background. The concept is fun and nostalgic. But when it comes to food, it’s a bit hit or miss. Some dishes really deliver (the [insert best dish you liked] was ), but others felt average or lacked that extra punch. Service was decent, though it could be quicker. Ambience definitely steals the show — great for reels, photos, or chilling with friends. Worth visiting once for the vibe, but hoping they improve the consistency in taste. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐/5 Best for: Friends hangout, retro content, or a chill evening.
Visited this place just once..got to tell this place is just fab in all respects be it ambience , Food varieties and taste..we find a little drawback in their serving abilities..u may not..overall a great experience
Ah, what can I say about this café? I've only visited it once in my life, and trust me, it was an amazing experience. We went there for a friend’s birthday party, and the staff gave us a separate area to sit. They listened to all our requests with so much patience and care. The food was absolutely delicious, and the environment had a unique sense of peace. You can just sit back, enjoy your meal, and relax to the soothing background music—absolutely lovely. The service was excellent, and we didn’t even have to wait long for our food. The walls are creatively designed, adding to the overall vibe. And there’s so much more! We stayed late, taking pictures after our party, and even when it was closing time, we requested some extra minutes. The staff patiently waited for us to finish before closing up. It’s such a wonderful restaurant! Yes, it’s a bit expensive, but totally worth a visit.
